The CMB helical bevel range has two new sizes. These new smaller sizes 402 and 502, made from aluminium will be added to the existing 2 sizes in aluminium (633 and 906) and cast iron (1103) to complete the range.
The CMB402 is interchangeable with the wormgearbox CM040 and the CMB502 is interchangeable with the CM050. Both sizes have 2 stages whereas the existing units of the same range have 3.
The new sizes 402 and 502 differ from the other sizes having output hypoid bevel gears, however the entire CMB range is modular, has ground gears and synthetic oil.

The prestage unit is a simple and valuable accessory which widens the application range for the wormgearbox. Technical solutions can be increased by using this product, maintaining flexibility, a typical feature of wormgearboxes.
The prestage unit optimises gearbox performance, it’s a practical and low cost solution and has small dimensions. Furthemore:
